Phantom Fireworks Excited for Canton Showroom Grand Reopening

CANTON, Ohio -- Phantom Fireworks, America’s largest consumer fireworks retailer, celebrated the reopening of its newly remodeled Canton store Thursday.

The renovated store is one of more than 50 permanent showrooms for the Youngstown-based industry leader, along with 1,200 temporary tent stands nationwide.

Phantom Fireworks Retail Operations Director Rick Greenfield is pleased to have the Canton store up and running as fireworks season kicks into full swing.

“We’re glad to be in a new showroom in Canton,” Greenfield said. “The city has always embraced Phantom and we are looking forward to working with all the great people in the area again.”

The Canton showroom is conveniently located off Interstate 77 at the Faircrest Street/Ohio Route 101 exit. The store is 5 miles south of downtown Canton, 10 miles south of Massillon and 23 miles south of Akron.

Renovation of the 11,000 square foot facility started in November 2008 and wrapped up last week in advance of the May 7 opening.

The remodeled showroom will have a three-person management team—led by manager Kevin Fay—and four year-round employees. Another 50 employees will be hired on a seasonal basis.

Customers will be excited to learn the new location carries Phantom’s full line of industry-leading consumer fireworks.
