PHANTOM FIREWORKS : NEWS RELEASES
"Malcolm in the Middle" Features Phantom Fireworks
(Youngstown, OH) - An episode of the popular TV sitcom "Malcolm in the Middle" that features Phantom Fireworks will be broadcast on the Fox Network on Sunday, June 22, 2002 at 9:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time. This episode features scenes with the show's star Frankie Muniz purchasing fireworks from a Phantom Fireworks Stand.
The story line begins with Malcolm attempting to win back his older brother's attention using something his brother loves - fireworks. Later in the show, Malcolm and his brothers ignite the fictional firework, the Komodo 3000, and the resulting explosion is so bright it turns the dark night into broad daylight.
Phantom, the USA's largest fireworks retailer, was asked to participate in the show, in part because the Phantom name is recognized by so many Americans. That's no surprise, since it has more than 1,000 locations nationwide during the 4th of July holidays.
B.J. Alan Company, parent to Phantom Fireworks, is based in Youngstown, Ohio. B.J. Alan operates 39 retail showrooms, over 1,000 temporary sales venues and chain store sales operations, as well as importing and wholesaling consumer fireworks. It also operates the popular website www.fireworks.com.
