Phantom Fireworks Photo Contest Rules

I hereby certify that the photo I am about to submit is my original work and has never been copyrighted or, if copyrighted, that I am the sole copyright owner. I am entering this photo as an honest and true effort of my personal creativity and unique artistic vision, and I understand that it will be published on the Internet as my original work and under my own copyright.

Before uploading a photo to our site, carefully read the following terms and conditions of use. If you agree to the terms as they have been written, click on the "Send" button to continue.
The purpose of this site is primarily entertainment and education. Image upload is allowed and encouraged if the user's motives are in accord with this purpose. Acceptable uses of the image uploader include:
- To enter the photo contest,
- To share your work,
- To request critique by votes,
- To entertain,
- To possibly win a $100 gift certificate for Phantom Fireworks,
- Images deemed unsuitable for our site or not in harmony with the above purposes may be removed from the site.

Public Viewing & Granting of Limited Rights

If approved for publication, your photo will be displayed to the public.
Your photo will be listed on the Phantom Fireworks contest site and possibly in other areas of the Web site.
By uploading your image, you are allowing Phantom Fireworks to publish the photo.

Public Voting

Once posted, the image will be open for the public to vote on.
Each photo is based on the overall highest percentage of votes.
Each photo must have 100 or more votes to be considered as a possible winner.

Copyright

All images must be originals and must belong to the person uploading; all rights in the photo must be the property of the person uploading the photo.
Once uploaded, B.J. Alan/ Phantom Fireworks retains the rights to any photos submitted
B.J. Alan/ Phantom Fireworks is not responsible for images submitted by someone other than the rightful owner.

Model Release

Uploader acknowledges that they have sufficient written permission of any recognizable models or other persons appearing in the photograph to be able to grant fireworks.com the right to publish their photographic submission online, and hereby grants B.J. Alan/ Phantom Fireworks such right.

Additional Contest Rules
In addition to the terms and conditions above, contest entries must abide by the following rules.

All entries must be received at the Phantom Fireworks Web site by the date and time as stated at http://www.fireworks.com.
Entries must be submitted in digital form via the Web site; you can submit images taken with a digital camera or images taken with a film-based camera and scanned into a digital format.
Mailed entries are not accepted and Phantom Fireworks will not be held responsible for mailed slides, negatives, or prints.
Participants may enter as many pictures as they wish during the duration of the contest.
No purchase is required to enter the Phantom Fireworks Photo Contest.
Winning photos will be posted on the Web site shortly after the end of the contest. All decisions of the judges are final.
We will attempt to contact prize winners by email. If the winner does not respond to our email and claim the prize within 10 days, the prize will be forfeited.
The gift certificate is not redeemable for cash value.
The gift certificate will be mailed to the winner at the end of the contest.

Disqualification
Any user who violates any of the fore mentioned rules and regulations automatically disqualifies themselves entirely from the contest.
