At nearly $20 per shot it's a bit expensive (especially when considering that you can get decent sized 12 shot repeaters for 20 bucks), but this is one of the best of the recently emerged tube racks that phantom offers. It essentially takes all the best tubes that phantom offers individually, and strings them together to make a very professional looking repeater. If you have money to blow and want to put on a great show, this is an excellent piece. If you're an average human being though, a cheaper 500 gram option with similar overall appeal would be Pyrotechnic Motherlode. 16 large, booming shots of varied effects. Not quite as large as these, but if you are interested in this piece but simply find it too expensive, go for that. Otherwise, this is a phenomenal finale repeater and anyone who would blindly stuff this into the middle of a show is nuts because it would be extremely hard to top this using consumer fireworks.

I purchased 2 of these racks in 2007. The display was exquisite, but the bases lacked weight as both of these racks fell on their side during the display due to the reaction of the individual shots propellent. If you purchase one of these great displays, I recommend that you screw the base to a large piece of flat plywood.

Multi-tube Aerial, 500 gram. Phantom brand, #G-680. 9 shots, 55 seconds. This enormous piece has nine of the #500 Phantom-brand single-shot aerial tubes on one base, and fused in sequence. This is a huge advantage over having to fuse them or wire them up yourself. You just light one fuse, and you get the following nine breaks, in this order: Fluorescent Yellow Bombshell #500, Florescent Orange Bombshell No. 500, Sea Blue Shell No. 500, Round Red Dahlia #500, Fluorescent Purple Bombshell #500, Silver Crackling Palm No. 500, Red Wave Silver Peony No. 500, Green Glitter with Crackle No. 500, and finally Brocade Silver to Green #500. Just add some fountains at ground level and there's your finale. In addition, this piece after it is used will make a great holder for roman candles and rockets. The large, heavy base makes it stable and secure. The effects in this cake are mainly basic, simple ones such as single-color peony and chrysanthemum breaks, but the size and spread of these breaks are phenomenal, and the colors are superb, including rarely-seen colors such as purple, lemon yellow, light blue, and deep orange stars. Who would have ever thought such gigantic breaks would be completely legal in consumer fireworks? It's a "wow" item all by itself, but used along with some smaller cakes and a few fountains it could be the foundation of a great finale.

This rack will be amazing this 4th. And because they are Grucci make, they will be even better. It would be best in a finale with a 500g Grucci High Performance Display a Mineshell Mayhem a 96 shot pearl cake for low effects and maybe a blazing blast furnace or 2 with that. Also you could add in a phantom missle base and a New York Salute Finale. That would be a great finale for a show. This could also start off a show very well too. Light this bad boy off and you will have the attention of the neiborhood no doubt. Take my advice and buy this for the 4th. If you have ever lit off #500 grucci tubes before, you will know what I am talking about.
