Alaska Fireworks Laws
CONSUMER FIREWORKS
Specifically Permitted Roman candles, skyrockets, helicopter rockets, cylindrical and cone fountains, wheels, torches, colored fire, dipped sticks, mines and shells, firecrackers with soft casings, and novelties (size limitations specified.)
Specifically Prohibited All fireworks that are not defined as salable consumer fireworks.


DISPLAY FIREWORKS
Display Permit Apply to State Fire Marshal.
Insurance Required. Minimum $1,000,000 for personal injury and death, minimum $500,000 for property damages.
Operator State certification required. Pyrotechnics operator must take written test.

LICENSING
  Annual wholesale and retail licenses required. Apply to State Fire Marshal. Annual wholesale license fee $50, retail $5.
