CONSUMER FIREWORKS |

| Specifically Prohibited | Cherry bombs, tubular salutes, repeating bombs, aerial bombs, and torpedoes. |
| Selling Period | June 15-July 5 and December 5-January 2 |
| Age of Purchase | 12 years |
DISPLAY FIREWORKS |

| Display Permit | Apply to local authorities at least 10 days before display date. Provisions of NFPA Standard 1123 must be met. |
| Insurance | Bond or certificate of insurance required in an amount deemed adequate by the fire official for payment of personal or property damages. |
| Operator | No license specifically required in state law. |
MANUFACTURE, STORAGE, TRANSPORTATION |

| Safe storage areas and safe disposal specified in the law, but must be a competent operator, approved by the fire official. | |
LICENSING |
|
| State and local licenses are required to manufacture fireworks; apply to state tax commission and local authorities. | |
