CONSUMER FIREWORKS |

| Specifically Permitted | Sparklers, fountains, smoke devices, snake and glow worms, trick noisemakers, and toy pistol caps. |
| Specifically Prohibited | Explosive or aerial fireworks, roman candles, and rockets or similar devices. |
DISPLAY FIREWORKS | |
| Display Permit | Apply to local fire official. Must comply with NFPA 1123, NFPA 1126 and Chapter 33 of International Fire Code, 2000 Edition. |
| Insurance | None specifically required in state law. |
| Operator | No license specifically required in state law, operator must be technically competent. May be local requirements. Bond or certificate of insurance required. |
MANUFACTURE, STORAGE, TRANSPORTATION |

| Manufacturing of fireworks not permitted. | |
LICENSING |

| State License required annually, apply to state tax commissioner. Wholesaler distribution $1400 Wholesaler 400 Retail permit required at local level, apply to municipal clerk, $50 fee. Wholesalers may sell only to licensed retailers or jobbers. Retailer may buy only from licensed wholesaler or jobbers. |
