Best shells you can get from phantom, high quality, real loud, good height, nice break. However, they are expensive and not the best bang for your buck. If you got money to blow you wont regret it, if your on a budget grab the silver salutes. Phantom do us all a favor and drop the price on these little. i think everyone would appreciate it.

These are the main event for our parties. Big, bright, loud. If the neighbors weren't outside watching before we started, they are now. My only complaint is that I wish they had more than 4 launch tubes. Launching multiple tubes at the same time really brings out the "Oooos" and "Aaaahs". If you have kids who shy away from loud noises, give them a warning to cover their ears with these.

The best mortar/canister kit you can get. The breaks are bigger, higher, louder than any other ive tried. Also ive had tubes from other kits fail. The tubes in this kit are very strong. Expensive but worth it, wow the crowd with this one.

Loudest mortars Ive ever used but I havnt tried silver salutes, excalibur, or sweet 16. I liked it but will try the others the next few years

We purchased this kit for the first time this year. I have absolutely no complaints. Big, loud and colorful. I plan to pick up two of these kits next year.

This was my first experience with reloadable mortars (I'm a hardcore aerial tube fan) I must say that I'm very impressed. I did learn that a bit more preparation is required beforehand to keep up a good show pace as compared to preloaded tubes. But as noted by other comments the height and break of the mortars is quite impressive. When I asked the clerk at the store about mortars he said the Lock and Load kit was the best there is. While I can't compare to other mortar kits, I have to say I'm tempted to shift my show plan away from tubes so long as I can figure out a good method for safely loading and firing the mortars faster than I was able to this year. Another comment mentioned the loud burst and I can attest that for the first time in my life, I got several children to cry (and not good tears) during the show when I started sending up the Lock and Load mortars. They are seriously loud but well worth the pounding for the spectacular breaks.

I purchased this kit this past weekend, extremely impressed with the loud and really cool breaks. All the kids in my neighborhood and my co-workers are really impressed. I will be going back to get more for friends and family for this 4th of July weekend. A little pricey perhaps, but well worth the money. You will not be disappointed!!!

Well this was my first year I was able to buy fireworks an I went with these. Yes alil pricey but if you become a premier member and having 50% well worth only paying 100 bucks. Will defiantly be getting a few more for next year.
